Default Automating sql update queries

I&#039ve asked this before but does anyone know how I can run a query at a set time each day? Obviously this feature would have to be running on the server. I have thought about useing some sort of schduleing program. Any ideas?

Thanks.

    Depends on the database.

I know on Oracle you can submit a job through the SQL interface.

Failing that you can have an NT scheduled job that calls a batch file with a command to open SQL Plus run the command and then shut.

Both these ways work however when doing it via an Oracle job the interval increments from the time that the job terminates as opposed to running at a particular time.

I only know the Oracle way I&#039m afraid so if you are looking for a SQL Server way I can&#039t help sorry.
