    Default Converting Access to SQL?

    Hi Guys, <BR><BR>I am currently writting my pages using Access and ASP, I would like to use our SQL server 7 to make the large database I am using faster.<BR><BR>I have NO idea how to do this. Do I have to change the .mdb? Do I have to set the connection different?<BR><BR>"Set conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.connection")<BR>DSNtemp ="DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; "<BR>DSNtemp=dsntemp & "DBQ=" & server.mappath("dbauth.mdb")<BR>conn.Open DSNtemp"<BR><BR>Can anyone help me out or point me to a page with the answers :)<BR><BR>Thanks for your help!:)<BR>Renee :)

    Renee<BR><BR>I shall write this only once *smile*<BR>Is the problem that you don&#039t how to get the data into SQL 7? Access 2k has a nifty upsize function.<BR><BR>Once in SQL 7, you should be able to create a DSN in the normal fashion (eg through InterDev or the Control Panel).<BR><BR>Jesus is my girlfriend sayeth Baby Bird.<BR><BR>Franco<BR>
