In an ASP application I am currently writing, I get the following error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error &#039 800a001c&#039

Out of stack space: &#039GetAnswerValue&#039

/Project1_Local/SOS/include/GenericFunctions.asp, line 526

At line 526, the code is as follows:

Operand1 = GetAnswerValue(Temp)

Where GetAnswerValue is a function.

The application I am writing mixes HTML and ASP pages. I have come across this error before and noticed that when an ASP posted to an HTML page and came back, it tended to lose its Session variables. I fixed this problem by changing all HTML pages to ASP pages and including <%@ Language=VBScript %> at the top. After doing this, the error never reoccurred.

Given this info, does anyone have any logical explanation for this behavior?

Thanks in advance,
Austin
