Default Mixing ASP and VBScript

    Is there a way that I can access values or functions defined in my ASP code from my SCRIPT code? For example:

<%
MyValue=10

Priva te Function DoThis()
response.write "I am doing this"
end function
%>

<script language=vbscript>
For x = 1 to MyValue
DoThis()
next
</script>

In the above (useless) example, MyValue would not be recognized by the VBscript, nor could DoThis() be called by the Vbscript. Is this a limitation? Or is there some way I can define or reference these values/functions so that ASP and VBScript can share and interact.

Please respond to toddhd@hotmail.com if possible - thanks!
