Default Code Behind Question

    Hello all. I am using ASP.Net and I have some javascript and confirm box check. If the user clicks cancel I dont want my code behind to run. I return false but it seems to still run the btnSave code behind on click. Any idea? Here is my confirm box in javascript. The cancel is still going into my code behind for the button called btnSave_Click event.

function confirmSubmit()
{
if (document.DeptBudget.dpdlActCode.selectedIndex != 0 &#124&#124 document.DeptBudget.dpdlLOB.selectedIndex != 0)
{
var agree=confirm("Are you sure you want to continue?");
if (agree)
return true ;
else
return false ;
}
}
