My recordset object selects 1 record from an SQL 7.0 table. It contains 9 Text/BLOB fields (upsized Access2000 memo fields).<BR>I have listed them in order at the end of the SELECT statement in my.<BR><BR>The code I use to update them looks like this: (There would be 9 of these if statements)<BR> if request.form("SurveillanceComment") &#060;&#062; "" then<BR> rs.fields("SurveillanceComment") = rs.fields_("SurveillanceComment") & request.form("SurveillanceComment")<BR> rs.update<BR> end if <BR><BR>I have a feeling it is not the most efficient, but it is what I have.<BR><BR>My problem is that I get the following error when I have stuff in the text box to update:<BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80040e21&#039 <BR><BR>Errors occurred <BR><BR>/DEBrATMConfirm.asp, line 142 <BR><BR>It happens when I do any 1 or more of the memo fields. Does anyone have any idea why?
