    This is what I want to happen,but I am not sure how to accomplish this.<BR><BR>When I send and email using CDONTS, I want he "from" field to only contain an email address leaving off the <BR>The "real name"<BR><BR><BR>I know in Eudora or any email client, one can go into tools/options and make this change. But I am not sure<BR>how this would be done with the IIS SMTP service. <BR><BR><BR><BR>this <BR><BR>from : &#060;;<BR><BR>not this:<BR><BR>from: kathy doe &#060;;<BR><BR><BR>asp code:<BR><BR>Set MailObj = CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")<BR> MailObj.from = ""

    I tried this code. It is not giving me the results I want.<BR><BR>the from field is still appearing as <BR><BR>Jane Doe &#060;;<BR><BR>instead of <BR> &#060;;<BR>How can I not have JAne DOE appear. Is this a setting on the IIS SMTP service??<BR>
