Default ASP and applets

I've got an applet on my start-page (.asp) that doesn't show until I refresh the page. The applet (banner) gets certain information from a .txt file (like user-specific status information, which is displayed in the banner) and is automatically updated via FSO when the user logs in. (He then gets routed to the start-page). My code checks that the .txt file exists before routing the user to the start-page. I have also tried to set a delay before routing the user to the start page. Nothin works. I have to click refresh in order for the start-page to show.

Any ideas?

Roche Paris

    Default What kind of applet?

Usually, the word applet refers to Java. But you imply you are using FSO, and Java doesn't use FSO, so I'm not sure WHAT you are doing.

You'll probably have to actually show some code.
