    Default WinHttp

    I am using WinHttp to send data to a remote server. I keep getting this error:<BR><BR>Microsoft VBScript compilation (0x800A0401)<BR>Expected end of statement<BR><BR>on this code: Dim strRequest As String<BR><BR>at the word As<BR><BR>All of my Dim statements get this error.<BR><BR>Any help would be appreciated!

    PLEASE read the rules for posting in this Advanced forum.<BR><BR>To answer your question, though: VBScript does NOT allow you to specify type names. You appear to be trying to write VB code, and although VBScript is a toy derivative of VB, it certainly can&#039;t handle the full VB language.<BR><BR>If you want to use VB, use VB. Don&#039;t try to mix VB and VBScript.<BR><BR>
