Default Default page question in IIS

This is a curiosity question and not a problem...<BR><BR>If in IIS I set the default page to be "test.asp", which has a form that posts back to itself and a user goes to my site and does not specify a page (eg "") and submits the form that has no action attribute the page will break. If the user does specify a page (eg "") and the form has no action attribute it works fine...and of course the page works fine if I just specify an action...but I was just wondering why it would not work w/o it. Any ideas?

    Default Not sure, but...

.. having a form without an action is improper (even though it works).<BR><BR>You should always specify an action.
