    Default Japanese text display

I am writing user entered data to a database from a UNICODE<BR>UTF-8 encoded web page by using ADO in an ASP script.<BR>The field is of type nvarchar. How do I read and display Japanese characters on an ASP page?

Neil, I&#039m having the same problem displaying (not inserting) except that I&#039m using varchar2 which is fine for half size or half font character but when we use a double byte charset, it sets all screwed. So the data that appears in my response write statement gets all garbled. Did you find a fix?
