    Default why is this happening

    When I am using the first strConnection its throwing up an error "Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another."<BR><BR>But when I am using the second one its working fine...!!!!<BR><BR><BR><BR>strConnection = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & server.MapPath("../DB/Tours_Travels.mdb")& ";Persist Security Info=False"<BR><BR>strConnection ="Provider=MSDataShape;DBQ=D:365DBTours_Travels.md b;DefaultDir=D:365DB;Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DriverId=25;FIL=MS Access;MaxBufferSize=2048;MaxScanRows=8;PageTimeou t=5;SafeTransactions=0;Threads=3;UID=admin;UserCom mitSync=Yes;"<BR>

    Default RE: why is this happening

    What do you see if you do a <BR>response.write(server.MapPath("../DB/Tours_Travels.mdb"))?<BR><BR>maybe that ../ shouldnt be there?

    Default Probably has nothing to do...

    ...with the connection string, directly.<BR><BR>Look in the ASPFAQs (link center above) and the category "Databases, Errors" for at least one FAQ on this error.<BR><BR>
