Default Sql with 2 variables

Using DW MX2004 server-side VB Script, I am trying to retrieve a factor from an Access 2000 table, tbl_AdjustBy. The table has 48 rows (column named width) and 96 columns which are named 1,2,3,4,5, etc to 96.

From a form on an input page, a user types in two values, width and length. In the server page code the two values are set to SQL variables MMRowParam and MMColParam.

The SQL is SELECT MMColParam
FROM tbl_AdjustBy
WHERE tbl_AdjustBy.length = 'MMRowParam'
Variables:
MMRowPa ram 1 Request.Form("Width")
MMColParam 1 Request.Form("Length")

The result returned is not the table factor, the result is the name of the field in MMColParam!

Any suggestions?

TIA,

Robert
