## MS Access DB on a network drive...

Hey,

I'm trying to connect to a DB on a mapped network drive, but I'm having problems. The following connection seems to work because my error is coming from much later in the code.

dbPath = "\snapSnapMikeDBWeb.mdb"
Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
objConn.Open "PROVIDER=MICROSOFT.JET.OLEDB.4.0;DATA SOURCE=" & dbPath

The error I do get is:
"'Z:DatabaseDataTablesDataTables.mdb&# 039; is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides."

So it looks like my network drive of (\snapsnap...) is requesting tables from Z:Database... and can't get them. The network drive with the original DB I'm connecting to (\snap...) is also mapped to the Z: drive, but is in a different folder z:Database...

What have I done wrong? I have also tried connecting with:

dbPath = "Z:MikeHeritageDBWeb.mdb"
Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
objConn.Open "PROVIDER=MICROSOFT.JET.OLEDB.4.0;DATA SOURCE=" & dbPath

but that gives the following error:

'Z:MikeHeritageDBWeb.mdb' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.

My page used to work, but since I got a new computer (and had to remap the network drives) it 's not working anymore...

Thanks,
Mike
