Hey guys, <BR><BR>I'm reading tables from a MySQL db (using the .NET driver) into datasets in a web app I'm building, but its starting to bottleneck. What I would like is a highly efficient way of reading the tables directly into an array, and then accessing the array data by specifying row and column indexes explicitly. I know there are downsides to this method, but for this particular task raw speed is the main concern. SO what I'm looking for is an implementation of the fastest way to read data from the db into an array. I'm coding in VB .NET so it would help if any code examples are also in VB!
