Hey, I've got a datagrid control that has a footer with textfields, that are disabled in my aspx page. When a user clicks an <asp:button>(not contained in my datagrid) I need to disable the editable column of my datagrid and enable the controls in the footer so the only thing a user can do is add a new item to the grid. My problem is that on the post back, I can't figure out how to gain access to the individual controls in the footer to disable them from my click event. I've tryed the FindControl Method and I've tryed casting the last row as a datagriditem and accessing the control from there but it nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

Jeremy
