I am trying to understand how the httphandlers render html. I have read Scott Mitchells and other articles and I am almost there. But I do have one small detail that I dont know how to resolve.

I understand that the RenderControl() method is called for all controls that are hosted by the UI.Page object. But what about the html header and normal html tags that are in the .aspx file? Controls are not made for these elements and I would like to understand the complete picture. How are these elements rendered? Is there a method in the Page object that has read the .aspx file and is parsing this file file and rendering directly normal html and involing RenderControl() for the controls as the parser encoutners them? I'm just guessing.

Can anyone shed any light on this small detail for me?

Thanks,
Trinitron
