First step is to make sure that index server is indexing your aspx files. In the properties dialogue box for your catalogue choose "index files with unknown file extensions" in the last tab. You'll have to stop and start the indexing service for it to take effect and then perhapse force a full re-index.<BR><BR>It should then at least find your aspx pages but it would treat them as text files, so the abstract would start with your page declaration.<BR><BR>I think there's a way to associate the .aspx extension with the html ifilter by editing the registry, but I've not looked into that myself.
Thank you for the reply.<BR>The aspx files are getting indexed. No porblems with that. But the "Characterization" isint returning anything for these files. <BR>Maybe as you suggested I should try to associate .aspx extension in the registry.<BR>Thanks again.
