I run a number of websites on one server and I want them to be able to share commonly used classes.

The problem is I have never done this before and I am not sure how to implement this.

Do I make a class library on its own IP address so that all other sites on the server can access it? What is the most common way to deal with this issue?

Any advice is appreciated
two common ways of doing this:
1. install your compiled classes onto your server in the global assembly cache, the assembly folder in the widows folder in the root directory. don't just copy it in, you need to install it. once installed, any projects on the system will have access to them.

2. create a bin folder in each website directory that uses these classes. copy your compiled classes into that directory.
