i have a string..lets say 0.96

i want to insert that into the db as 9.6....how do i do this...tried using the split...but all i got with that is taking off the dec..thanks
look up FormatNumber()
in the docs or google
wouldn't just multiply by 10?

x = "0.96"
y = CLng(x) * 10

x = "0.96"
y = C[hl ="yellow"]Dbl[/hl](x) * 10

CLgn will convert x to an Integer and he'd lose the decimal entirely.
x = "0.96"
y = CDbl(x) * 10
I shouldn't answer questions before coffee. Thanks Xanderno.
