    Default problem with lithuanian

    my site was in lithuanian langauge and was on IIS5/Windows2000 server & was using MS Access & was working fine...<BR><BR>Now the site is hosted on IIS6/windows2003 & it is not working properly..<BR><BR>e.g : when i enter aukšèiausios it gets added to the database but in the front end the lithuanian characters are getting replced by english characters i.e. the above text is displayed as<BR>aukkkkkiausios .. What could be the reason<BR><BR><BR>

    Default *Probably* somebody didn't set...

    ...the default locale to Lithuanian.<BR><BR>Try adding <BR><BR>&#060;%<BR>Session.LCID = 1063<BR>Session.CodePage = 1257 &#039; I *think* this is correct for Lithuania!<BR>%&#062;<BR><BR>To some ASP page and see if that helps. If it does, you could just add it to you Session_onStart in your GLOBAL.ASA file:<BR><BR> Sub Session_onStart<BR> Session.LCID = 1063<BR> Session.CodePage = 1257<BR> ... other stuff ...<BR> End Sub<BR><BR>NOTE: Some other sources say the codepage for Lithuania should be 1252, so try both.<BR><BR>
