Default Folder Permissions

    I'm trying to set permissions for a folder using an asp page using CACLS.EXE. However, when the script executes it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas. Here is my script.

strUserName = "myuser"
strProfileLocation = "\MyMachineEDrive$Profiles\" & strUserName

strShellCommand01 = "cmd /c echo y&#124 CACLS " & strProfileLocation & " /T /G mydomain\" & strUserName & ":F"
Set objShell = Server.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
objRTC = objShell.Run (strShellCommand01 , 0, True)
Set objRTC = Nothing
Set objShell = Nothing

    Default RE: Folder Permissions

    if the ASP page is running under IUSR (as it will be by default) then it doesn't have the rights to change ACLs. is this the case?
