I have created a DSN using Microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle<BR>That DSN works in ASP pages but not in ASP .NET pages<BR><BR>strConn = "DSN=XYZ;User Id=AAA;Password=BBB"<BR><BR>If I use DSN-less connection<BR>strConn = "Provider=MSDAORA.1;Data Source=XXX;User Id=AAA;Password=BBB"<BR>it works fine.<BR><BR>I am opening the connection like this<BR> Dim objConn as New OleDb.OledbConnection(strConn)<BR><BR>I get an error<BR>An OLE DB Provider was not specified in the ConnectionString. An example would be, &#039;Provider=SQLOLEDB;&#039;<BR><BR>If I change OleDb to ODBC, I get an error as <BR>ERROR [IM006] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver&#039;s SQLSetConnectAttr failed ERROR [01000] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The driver doesn&#039;t support the version of ODBC behavior that the application requested (see SQLSetEnvAttr).
