Default submitting forms by code (sometimes)

    Using VBscript in code you can submit a form after doing other chores by
<FORM Name=frm Method=post>
<input type=button name=codeandsubmit value='submit after other code'>
..
<script language=vbscript>
function codeandsubmit()
... other code ...
frm.submit()
end function
</script>

On some pages this works FINE on other pages i get "object doesn't support this property or method" when the submit line is executed. How come???

Default The only time that I've..

    .. ever had issues with this is due to:

- Page not being loaded completely.
- Invalid HTML.

Check for those 2 things and hopefully you'll see why your other pages do not work.

(Oh, and a side note - VBScript on the client-side isn't common and requires the user to use IE. JavaScript is the "defact-o" standard and is supported by a majority of the browsers out there.)
