    Default how to get the number of the current record?

    I&#039m trying to get the current record number but it always return -1. I have an open recordset and do like this:<BR><BR>myRecordset.AbsolutePosition();<BR><B R>I do this in a simple loop through the recordset in each loop, so I guess there should be a current record. My cursor is static (3).<BR><BR>Please help, anyone?<BR><BR>cheers,<BR>Jannik

    I&#039ve found that the static properties do not work on a sybase SQL server. Is this what you are running? <BR><BR>Also, you may retrieve the count in a select statement:<BR><BR>Select Count(*) As RecordCount From TableName Where Name = &#039bla bla&#039<BR><BR>then rs("RecordCount") would hold the count.<BR><BR>Hope I helped<BR><BR>Nathan
