Default Win2k3, CDO, CDONTS, an SMTP relay = My Nightmare

    I can't get my stupid server to send out emails via CDO. I upgraded from a Windows 2000 server, but as I quickly found out, 2k3 no longer supports CDONTS... Fine, I read, I could use CDO.. No problem.. I configured the virtual server settings in IIS (to the best of my ability) and used the following code:

'Create Objects
Dim objMessage, objConfig
Set objMessage = Server.CreateObject("CDO.Message")
Set objConfig = Server.CreateObject("CDO.Configuration")

&# 039;Create Configuration
With objConfig.Fields
.Item("") = ""
.Item("") = 15
.Update()
End With

'Send Email
objMessage.Configuration = objConfig
objMessage.To = ""
objMessage.From = ""
objMessage.Subj ect = "Feedback"
objMessage.HTMLBody = "test"

objMessage.Send

'Des troy Objects
Set objMessage = Nothing
Set objConfig = Nothing

but no dice... nothing happens.. though the email DOES show up on the server's INETPUB/Mail/Pickup or whatever directory... Its just not hitting the SMTP server for some reason.. I can't figure out why. Is there something i'm missing in the IIS Config? a script problem?

dep
