Default Capturing downloads

Hi everyone, I am wondering how can I capture which file does a user downloads from my site. Anyone?

    Default RE: Capturing downloads

One way I have done this is to have a page that offers links to several different file downloads. Each link has the fileID as part of the querystring and all links post to a script that pulls off that string, records the download in a DB, then redirects to the download page.

Some weird issues with this: My client was in a mostly mac environment using Safari. I found out that Mac/Safari do NOT like to be redirected to a download page. They won't trigger the DL correctly. They will try to DL the code page with the sending script instead. Opera/NN/IE on Windows all did just fine.

Kurt
