    Default Execute MS Ofice Application from Browser.

    How can I launch an office application such as MS Excel from the Browser. I want to create a web page called applications that will alow the user to click on an Excel Icon and then have it launch MS Excel outside of the browser, no inplace editing.

    Default CouldnĀ“t open the MS Excel file...

    Thank you Farhan for the asp code that open a MS Excel Application. But I got a problem... The code opens Excel in the browser but not the MS Excel file. The spreadsheat says: <BR>&#060;font face="Arial" size=2&#062;<BR>&#060;p&#062;Server object&#060;/font&#062; &#060;font face="Arial" size=2&#062;error &#039ASP 0177 : 800401f3&#039&#060;/font&#062;<BR>&#060;p&#062;<BR>&#060;font face="Arial" size=2&#062;Server.CreateObject Failed&#060;/font&#062;<BR>&#060;p&#062;<BR>&#060;font face="Arial" size=2&#062;/Test/Openexcel.asp&#060;/font&#062;&#060;font face="Arial" size=2&#062;, line 8&#060;/font&#062;<BR>&#060;p&#062;<BR>&#060;font face="Arial" size=2&#062;Invalid class string<BR>&#060;/font&#062;<BR><BR>What have I done wrong???
