    Hi,<BR><BR>tstr = "&#060;td align=right&#062;"& rstopics("value")<BR>response.write tstr<BR><BR>The value of rstopics("value") is an ASP Application variable itself, ie the value will be Application("activeusers").<BR><BR>i want the value of Application("activeusers"), say a numeral, to be printed instead of "Application("activeusers")" the string. <BR><BR>Any pointers will be appreciated.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance!!!<BR><BR>

    Use the Eval function, which is available in VBScript 5. (If you do not have VBScript 5 or up, you can download it for free from<BR><BR>Anyway, the Eval function allows dynamic, run-time evaluation. This should do the trick for you.
