Hi

I just have discovered that CDONTS is not being used in Windows 2003.
I have an application that I would like to be able to run on NT, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003.

I have had a quick look at CDO and have a few questions:

1. Will CDO work for NT
2. The examples I have seen using CDO require you specify the SMTP server for the item cdoSMTPServer. Is there a way round this. (I have to install the app on customer's servers and don't want to hardcode this in)
3. Should I try a 3rd party component to avoid the problems with 1 and 2?

Thanks in advance

You will probably have to attempt to use CDONTS and if it fails, use CDOSYS.

That's the simplest way.

Craig.
