Is there a function out there that will strip out all of the microsoft office html garbage from a text string?
never seen one except the Dreamweaver command that used to do it. it's not a simple task - best not to generate HTML from office in the first place.
You can download the Office Html Filter: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=209adbee-3fbd-482c-83b0-96fb79b74ded&DisplayLang=en
