    I&#039m having problems in retrieving records with my query string. I&#039m trying to get all records that have the word &#039Latex&#039 anywhere in it. Can anyone help me?

    Select * From Table where columnName like &#039%latex%&#039<BR><BR>That is how you would search a particular column for the word, are you wanting to return the row if *ANY* column last the word in it? Let me know<BR><BR>Nathan

    select name from tblName where name like &#039%Latex%&#039

    This will return any records that contain the characters &#039latex&#039. If you want to specify the word, then use &#039% latex %&#039.

    Okay thanks... I thought I was trying it before and it wasn&#039t working... but it seems to work for me now... I guess I just mis-typed something.

    Now, how would you do such a search using a stored procedure and retrieving a variable called frmKeyword obtained from an input box?
