This may seem like a basic question, but as this is not part of any commonly used objects in ASP, I&#039m asking here.

Also, I&#039ve done a number of searches from several internet sites, and have found a couple examples that are VB specific, and wasn&#039t able to port to VBScript/ASP.

I want to Get the value for the UTC/GMT Bias on the server in VBScript. I know this can be done in JScript as..

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JSCRIPT RUNAT=SERVER>
function GetLocalTimeServer()
{
var Tod = new Date();
var Offset = Tod.getTimezoneOffset();
return Offset/60;
}
</SCRIPT>
and this function could be called in vbScript, but I&#039m trying to find a way to stick with the vbScript interpreter, for performance reasons.. even though this is only needed on one page currently.

If someone has the answer to this, and could foreward the vbscript code to me directly, it would be appreciated.

Michael J.
