Default Version of MS Office

To create Charts "on fly" I use office web component (Server.CreateObject("OWC.Chart")). But this is OK if Office 2000 was installed on web server. Let say, Office 2003 is installed and this will result in: Server.CreateObject("OWC11.Chart"). Is it possible to figure out Office version installed on web server?
Thanks

Yes it is possible, but the only possibility in ASP would be simply to try to create the object:

On Error Resume Next
Set objChart = Server.CreateObject("OWC.Chart")
If Err.Number <> 0 Then
' error: OWC.Chart not available: try OWC11.Chart
Set objChart = Server.CreateObject("OWC11.Chart")
If Err.Number <> 0 Then
' also not available...
Set objChart = Nothing
End If
End If

...
