Are there any ways i can check whether a data reader has returned any rows of resultset besides the HasRows property? It is because it seems i cant use the HasRows propery cos i got an error.
the HasRows IS the answer for you<BR><BR>whats the error? that means there is 100% absolutely something else wrong with your code
The error is 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataReader' does not contain a definition for 'HasRows'
and are you SURE you are running .NET Framework 1.1?? (.HasRows does not exist in 1.0)
yes..i am using .net framework 1.1.My code is just something like this..<BR><BR>if(Reader1.HasRows)<BR>
one whole line of code to go on..<BR><BR>ah well... cant help you out with so little info.... good luck
tks..never mind about tat one..by the way , do u know how to resize an array using C#.net.
