I'm in the process of writing a ActiveX component in VB to be used in ASP. I'm testing the component with ASP code running on PWS on the same machine that I'm compiling the DLL on. My problem is that every time I need to recompile my DLL, VB tells me I cannot overwrite the existing file because it's in use.

This only happens if the component has been loaded by ASP with "Server.CreateObject". If the component is loaded by VB or MS Access I don't have the problem.

I've stopped PWS every time I've tried this. But the only thing that seems to work is rebooting the machine.

Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks..
