Default ASP and HTML layout

    Does 4guys use a few premade template HTML files to start with then just add asp to certain areas? Or is the whole site database driven by which I mean that all content is db generated.

For my site I&#039m hitting a brick wall as to what I should do; make a few HTML "templates" as the default looks for different types of pages and then just pick a template when a new asp page is needed and code around HTML or what....

TIA

    We use a top and bottom template. So, to create an article, I create a new Web page, then read in the two templates like:

<!--#include file="header.asp"-->
ARTICLE GOES HERE
<!--#include file="footer.asp"-->

Then any changes I want to make to the overall site look and feel is just a simple edit in header.asp or footer.asp.

Does that answer your question?
