The HTML source generated by the asp? or the asp itself if someone had the source code?

If it's the HTML the answer is simple. It can't be done. You can make it more difficult for the average user to view source but no matter what you do with a site ripper someone can grab your code.

As far as ASP source there were programs around that would encrypt asp source and still leave it readable by the compiler. I think there was an article on asp101 about it but I don't remember for sure. However this is only as good as what you use to encrypt it and would be simple for someone to reverse if they had the program you used.

The real solution is to compile your asp into server side DLLs if you really want to protect your source code.
