Default ADO Datatype problem

    Hi,

I am trying to insert some data into a table in MS SQL 2000 server. The column is of type 'text' and I am using an ADODB.Command object and the Parameters collection.

The longest/largest datatype available appears to be adLongVarChar 8000. Is this correct or is there a 'text' type?

So I currently use:
.CreateParameter("@history", adLongVarChar, adParamInput, 8000, varTemp)

Is there anything available larger than adLongVarChar 8000?
