    Default JS in Asp.net

    I have a asp.Net script that authenticates a user from a table in a DB. What I want to do Is if the user is authenticate dcall a function in JavaScript. How would I do this. Please note that that page cannot be refreshed inorder to call the JS command.<BR><BR>Thanks!<BR><BR>James

    I think you&#039;re misunderstanding some fundamentals of client/server programming.<BR><BR>to authenticate in ASP.NET, you HAVE to make a round trip to the server. therefore you can&#039;t call back to the previous page&#039;s javascript - you have to output what you need to run and call it in the response.
