It depends on how simple or complex the object is. I usually perform binary serialization on the object and store it as a byte array in the session. i guess you would have to weigh the difference between storing the object as is and storing it as a byte array, which includes the extra overhead of packing and unpacking the object.
That's what I was wondering about. I had heard that I needed to use serialization to store objects in session, but then someone else told me I didn't have to. So, I wasn't sure. I'm getting close to having the code ready to do a small test and see how it works. Thanks.
