Default ASP and MySQL vs. SQL Server 2000

Hey All,<BR><BR>I&#039;ve been building a few ASP apps with a mySQL backend and now have a scenario where I&#039;m using a SQL Server 2000 DB. Will my code have to change (specifically the queries) much?<BR><BR>Thanks.<BR>

    Default Maybe, maybe not

Depends on what the queries do and how you have written them. There will be some differences between the two, but without seeing the queries it is difficult to say how they would be affected.

    Default yeah, maybe

TRANSACT-SQL (or T-SQL) is more a more powerful and syntactically slightly different dialect of SQL. Check this out for a pretty good summary:<BR><BR>http://www.mssqlcity.com/Articles/Compare/sql_server_vs_mysql.htm#part_5_1
