When I create an aspx file in VS, it creates 2 extra file, one for code behind and a resource file? Is there a speed improvement if I delete these files if I am not using them?

Also what are the resource files for?

Thanks in advance

No there will be no speed improvement if you delete those files. When you actually compile your application a .dll file is created and your aspx file just uses the compiled .dll in your /bin directory, it doesnt touch the codebehind or the resource file.

the codebehind file is used to code your web page and the resource file is something that vs.net needs, im not sure exactly what it is.
