I have this link http://partners.thestreet.com/fullfeeds/rmy/index.xml<BR>if you click there it asks you for a username and password. I have that information. Can I pass that info using a ASP program?<BR><BR>thanks
Really? I read it that he wanted to pass the username and password to the other site in a link from an ASP page. If so then it depends upon how the other page as been coded, it might accept username and password in the query string, or from a form, either way he will need to know what field names are expected.
I just talked with a friend and he could do it without knowing the name of the fields (using Perl) .<BR><BR>What I'm doing is a internel program that goes to that link and parse a XML code. is for our internal use
Go try that site he gave you in first message.<BR><BR>This has *NOTHING* to do with forms or fields or or or or...<BR><BR>He's asking how to supply windows authentication to a requesting server. That's all.<BR><BR>
