    Default more efficient...

    Which is more effient passing a large # of paramters out of a stored procedure to my C# wrapper function or creating a recordset with a select statement? Does anyone know for certain if it is better to open a recordset, or assign sql variables values in the stored procedure?<BR><BR>jwb

    "Efficient": Where, how, for who or for what.<BR>Same for "better"<BR><BR><BR>Think about the problem a bit. <BR> What do you have to create (allocate memory for)<BR> What do you need to have.<BR> What kind of operations are at the heart of a relational DB?
