I have a form with 2 list boxes. Using ASP I can easily interrogate my database and build the HTML with the embedded form populated from the database.

However, how can I limit the second list once the user has selected from the first? I know I can add an &#039onSelect&#039 event to the first selection, but how do I repopulate the second list. Do I have to rebuild the whole form or can I do it smarter.

TIA

Bob Phillips

Once you&#039ve written the listbox out there is no way of altering the contents of it. Javascript can&#039t do it nor can VBScript.

You&#039re best bet will be to have to seperate pages with a list box on each.

Hope that helps

Pete
