Default Simple HTML Question

I want to be able to place questions and pictures and text anywhere I want on the screen, not just along the left side or at the top. Example: What is the shortest HTML code that will display "A" 1.2 inches below and 3.4 inches to the right of the upper left hand corner of the screen, and also display "B" 5.6 inches below and 6.7 inches to the right of the upper left hand corner?

Charlie

Look into Cascading Style Sheets (css) and absolute positioning.

    Default But watch out...

    1.2 inches???

Okay, I'm displaying 1024x768 on a 21" monitor.

And this other person over here is displaying 1024x768 on a 15" monitor.

And there is no way for you to know what the size of the monitor is.

How are you going to do it using inches????

Hint: You can specify inches in CSS, but the assumption is always that there are 72 pixels per inch. Which is patently often a lie. You might be better off just using pixels, instead of inches.
