I have an ASP.Net web app that I have been working on to do an online accounting sort of thing for within our intranet. I want the user to specify a set of criteria, then have the web app create an Excel 2000 workbook dynamically to handle the input content. I designed the Excel portion in a regular Windows Forms environment for testing and to learn a little about the automation model, so I have an understanding of the code required to generate the Excel portion. The problem is that when I try to create an new Excel application over the web, I am getting Access is denied errors. The worker process doesn't have permission to do this. Is there a way to grant it access or impersonate a different user to accomplish this task? I'm kind of trolling for ideas here. Thanks for any help that you can give me.
