I'm using a .NET page to keep a schedule of events in a table in an Access database. My page has 5 fields from a DataGrid - StartDate, StopDate, EventTitle, Location, and Comments. On my client PC, everything works great. However, on the server, if I try to update or create a record leaving any of the fields blank, I get an error.

Server Error in '/' Application.
Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

I get around it by putting a space in the field in question, but it's annoying because I shouldn't have to do that. It's also frustrating because it's not behaving the same way on the client and server.

I double checked the database to make sure it was allowed to accept zero-length strings and to make sure that the field wasn't required.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
