I suspect you don't really want to do that.

Do you just want to make sure that a fresh version of the page is served to the browser every time rather than cached versions?

If so, you could use the following in the head tag:

and a little ASP code too, before the HTML tag:

<%
Response.ExpiresAbsolute = Now() - 1
Response.Expires = -10000
Response.CacheControl = "no-cache"
%>

If you REALLY want to reload the page onLoad (and I can't imagine you do), you could do
. But that really sucks - it'd never stop reloading! lol
what i want i my page to refresh onload just once. its an update page and after a update one record and go to update another it doesn't show the previous update; that's why i need it to refresh right when it opens(but just once).

i tried the code you gave me but there must be something wrong with it because my page won't even open.it says "the page cannot be displayed".
i just solved the error.
the code you gave me works just fine...except for a little catch.
the page is now incredibly slow. it doesn't walk it drags itself.
is there any reason for this?
